Murphy stayed for a week in May 2017. The owners clearly care about providing a good experience for their guests; the cottage is well furnished and provided with little extras like cosmetics one might expect to find at a hotel. When a couple of issues beyond their control happened they reacted quickly to overcome them. The cottage has all the home comforts we hoped for and would be a good base at any time of year. Murphy enjoyed the courtyard garden. Even the neighbours were a delight. Ingleton is a good location for exploring The Dales and is a short drive from The Forest of Bowland. Murphy walked Ingleborough and the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail from the cottage as well as several easier strolls. He conquered Whernside and Pen y Ghent after short car journeys. Ingleton is a friendly village with pubs and a couple of cafes where dogs are welcome and a variety of shops – Murphy met lots of admirers! We were very pleased!
