DogPeople Says

Obviously, we can’t hope to visit all the dog friendly holiday businesses on this site. We do intend to visit a selection of dog friendly pubs, places to visit and holiday accommodation. When we do we'll be paying customers and, as far as possible, won’t reveal identity in advance (but, with such well known dogs this can be difficult!). This policy provides first hand experience of the “dog friendliness” of our advertisers, enables us to better advise site visitors and gives our customer some more business.

DogPeople Says

After our visit we will add a short note of our findings linked to the directory. It will normally say something about the dog whose people sampled the advertiser’s service as well as something about what was found. We hope this will give you a better insight into what you might find if you stay at a dog friendly hotel or B&B or if you are considering choosing to enjoy a dog friendly self catering cottage holiday with your dog. If you've not yet thought about taking the dog with you for a meal out at a dog friendly place to eat, or to take your best friend to visit a heritage site or other dog welcoming day out maybe our experience might inspire you.

The note will be linked via the above symbol when it appears in a directory entry.
