The Plym Valley consists of varied habitats from riverside meadows, ancient woodland and the wilderness of Dartmoor. Car parks at Plymbridge, Cadover Bridge and Shaugh Prior provide good starting points to explore the area on foot or bike.

A variety of walks are available to download, or just come and stroll around the woods - there are lots of paths to follow.  See more here.

Use this link to The National Trust's dog walking page for more information for responsible dog walkers including a range of other suitable locations to walk their dogs (most, if not all, of these are included elsewhere in our dog friendly Walks and Beaches Directory).
