DogPeople Says : The Pooley Bridge Inn

The directors and Lottie visited for lunch in June 2013. We received a warm welcome and Lottie was delighted to receive a complimentary dog biscuit on arrival (before we'd even thought what we might order). We started lunch with a shared 'nibble' - Sticky Ribs (very tasty and great value) and both followed with a special 'Trio of Sausages' (wild boar, venison and Cumberland). We finished with a meringue nest between us ( meringue, stewed peach, cream, raspberry sorbet and fresh strawberry - again very tasty). As well as Stowford Press cider and a pint of Robinsons Pennington Muncaster real ale we also enjoyed a tea and a coffee. As you can probably tell we lingered and enjoyed everything. Lottie was brought a water bowl on request (and there was one outside too). As well as good food and drink the helpful and welcoming staff made this a good experience.
