Midway between Shrewsbury and Chester this silver-stone former Georgian rectory is set in stunning hill scenery in the Shropshire/Welsh borders. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic walking country and provides free route guides for it’s guests. Whilst never precious or stuffy, Pen-y-Dyffryn one of Shropshire’s best hotels, consistently rated “Excellent” on Tripadvisor, is a Good Hotel Guide “Country Hotel of the Year” winner, and has held two AA Food Rosettes for over 12 years now.
