Your bedroom will be equipped with a water bowl and bed for your dog. We provide a water bowl outside on the sun terrace. The ideal spot for a short toilet break is an area of parkland by the cliff top just a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel that is great for a quick blast or toilet trip. Please ask reception who will be more than happy to give you directions. Forgotten to bring doggie waste bags? Don’t worry, we keep a supply at reception.
Dog walks near by. During the winter season which runs from 1st October – 30th April, your dog can enjoy full run of over 10 miles of glorious sandy beaches in Bournemouth and Poole. During the summer season, 1st May – 30th September, dogs have their own designated beaches. Remember dogs are to be kept on the lead on all paths and promenades.
• Durley Chine Beach (5 – 10-minute walk from hotel) Dogs are allowed between groyne 5 and groyne 7 • Alum Chine Beach (10-minute walk from hotel) Dogs are allowed between Alum Chine Beach Office and the border of Branksome Dene Chine. • Southbourne Beach (30-minute walk from hotel or 10-minute car drive) • Dogs are allowed from groyne 32 – 41 on Fisherman’s Walk Beach • Hengistbury Head (40-50-minute walk from hotel, 15-minute car drive) • Dogs are allowed on Hengistbury Head beach all year round.
Beaches in Poole • Branksome Dene Chine (10-minute walk from hotel) • Dogs are allowed all year round on Branksome Dene Chine Beach. • Sandbanks (25-35-minute walk from the hotel or 10-minute car drive) Dogs are allowed full access on the Western end of Sandbanks Beach to Haven Point (by the chain ferry) all year round.
The New Forest - Just a 30-minute drive from the Hotel, The New Forest is a haven of ancient woodland, open moors, heathland and cliff top walks.
Some of our favourite dog friendly cafes and restaurants WestBeach - just a 5-minute walk from the Hotel, making this the perfect place to sit and soak up the atmosphere watching the world go by. Your dog is more than welcome on their chic outside terrace, which is complete with a water bowl.
Urban Beach -Just a 15-minute walk from the Hotel, this is a wonderful option for coffee, lunch or dinner. Dogs are allowed outside and ground floor inside, water bowls are provided.
Flirt - Just a 10-minute walk from the Hotel. With a DIY salad bar amongst other delicious bites and a great drinks menu, your dog is welcome both inside and outside and is can crunch away on complimentary treats and refuel from the provided water bowls.

Your dog is welcome to relax with you in our bar, lounge, sun terrace and your bedroom. During meal times, we welcome you to eat in the bar with your dog, alternatively if you would like to eat in the dining room, your dog can wait in your bedroom or car.
