Cleeve Abbey. A day out in Washford, Somerset.

Located in Washford, 1/4 mile South of A39 (OS Map 181; ref ST 047407). Parking 70m from entrance, then 150m to admission point. Railway station about 0.5 miles away.

Okehampton Castle. A day out in Okehampton, Devon.

Located 1 mile South West of Okehampton town centre (OS Map 191; ref SX 584942). Audio tour with hearing loop included in admission price.

Dulverton Guildhall Heritage and Arts Centre. A day out in Dulverton, Somerset.

The Guildhall Heritage and Arts Centre is situated behind the Exmoor National Park Centre/ Dulverton Library. Open seven days a week from early April to the end of October, with free admission, it gives visitors a taste of old Dulverton.

£1 charge for dogs on the steam train (shares your carriage), plenty of space to roam, water bowls provided.

You are very welcome to bring your dog to Powderham. We simply ask owners to kindly clear up after their dogs with bins provided.

Gallox Bridge. A day out in Dunster, Somerset.

Fifty acres of dog friendly gardens, dog bins, water bowl in Courtyard. The Stables cafe is dog friendly as well.

On Pendennis Head, Cornwall, 1 mile South East of Falmouth.(OS Map 204; ref SW 824318). Picnic area in grounds.

In Totnes, on a hill overlooking the town (OS Map 202; ref SX 800605). Parking is located 64 metres away and charged, cars only due to narrow approach roads.

Dogs on leads welcome all year round. The Nursery sells a wide variety of plants, the homely Tearooms sell good home-cooked food using fresh local produce, we also now have a farm shop in the courtyard. Dog water bowl in courtyard by tearoom. Ample free car parking available.
