Treasure Trails are created for all the family to enjoy, and that includes your dog. The routes often include parks, woodland areas and riversides, as well as areas with shops and cafés with outdoor seating. Although we know some cafés and attractions along the routes have water bowls, we recommend taking your own water along the way.
Treasure Trails are a new way to explore and have fun. They are self-guided walking Trails in great locations around County Durham and Teesside. They are based on a theme, either treasure hunt, spy mission or murder mystery. Walks are from 1 mile to 3 miles. Click on the website link to obtain more details.
Routes are self-guided so you and your dogs can enjoy them in your own time.
Please take a lead as you and your dog may encounter others, wildlife, livestock or traffic along the way.
