Lottie travelled from The Green (near Eskdale Green) to Ravensglass and back in June 2012. She enjoyed looking out at the varied scenery and we all found this a great way to travel from the Lake District valley we were staying in to the coast. Having arrived at Ravensglass we looked around the town, visited the beach and enjoyed a walk inland. If you are staying by the coast with your dogs the railway will be a good way to enjoy a trip near the head of the valley – where there’s plenty of walking options to keep the dogs happy!
