Description:
Imposing Dundonald Castle was built by Robert II in the 1370s to mark his succession to the throne of Scotland.

Dog Restrictions:
Dogs off the lead are permitted on Linlithgow Peel. Dogs are permitted in the grounds if kept on a leash. They are not permitted in roofed buildings. Owners are asked to be sensitive to the effect of their dogs on others, esepcially children. Poop scoops are available from the steward at staffed sites. Please clear up after your dog.
