Description:
A handsome combined tower house and hall, home of John Carswell, first Protestant Bishop of the Isles and translator of the first book printed in Gaelic. Very fine architectural details of the late 16th century.

Dog Restrictions:
Dogs are permitted in the grounds if kept on a leash. They are not permitted in roofed buildings. Owners are asked to be sensitive to the effect of their dogs on others, esepcially children. Poop scoops are available from the steward at staffed sites. Please clear up after your dog.
