Hamish and his people joined the Canterbury tour on 26/04/03. Hamish was the only canine member of the group that included visitors from the UK and USA. The tour lasted about 75 minutes, is done at a leisurely pace and does not involve any hills or steps so would be suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Our tour started promptly at 20:00 hrs but a few latecomers joined us – look out for the man wearing a top hat! Our ghost hunter John entertained the humans with a humorous and dramatic rendition of a selection of ghost encounters and local history; the section about the pit in the church was one of more gruesome tales. Hamish was entertained not only by the vocal delivery but also the variety of appetising food scents found in the city centre on a Saturday evening. An entertaining evening but wrap up warm in the winter.
