DogPeople Says : Caldicot Castle

Hamish visited on 1.7.02 and had a wonderful time. Some of the steps in the towers could be a challenge for some dogs but Hamish managed them all with ease. His people thoroughly enjoyed the castle and its interesting audio tour. We all had tea and tasty cakes in the Tea Room. All the staff were cheerful and helpful adding to a very good all round experience. The weather was showery but this didn't detract from the visit as there are plenty of indoor areas. If the weather had been better we would certainly have taken the moat walk and explored more of the Country Park. Lots of free parking. A good 'doggie' day out!
