0.5 mile East of Milnathort on the A911 - NO 128 045.
The roofless but otherwise complete ruin of a tower house of about 1500, with a section of defensive barmkin wall and a remarkable corner tower with a square cap-house corbelled out. Much visited by James IV. Keys available locally during the standard summer opening hours - see below.
Visit Historic Scotland's website for details.
Dogs are permitted in the grounds if kept on a leash. They are not permitted in roofed buildings. Owners are asked to be sensitive to the effect of their dogs on others, esepcially children. Poop scoops are available from the steward at staffed sites. Please clear up after your dog.
