Hamish stayed in April 2007 with his people for two nights on his way back from Yorkshire. He enjoyed his stay in the comfortable family bedroom with views over the garden and woods and en-suite shower room. Breakfasts were large and unhurried starting with fruit juice and cereals. The English breakfast was cooked to order and presented on a platter so you can share out as you wish. With access all areas Hamish was able to join in as well! The dining table looks out over the back garden which was visited by a variety of bird life including lesser-spotted woodpeckers. Woodend Farm is a pleasant rural base for a break in the Lincolnshire countryside. It offers traditional farmhouse B&B in a quiet setting yet is only a short drive from places to eat and tourist attractions including a number for aviation enthusiasts and the city of Lincoln. Helen the landlady can advise on dog friendly pubs for meals out. The farmhouse has a large garden where the resident dogs spend a lot of time, playing and relaxing. There is also a very handy field next to the farmhouse where Helen suggested we take Hamish. We saw several hares on these walks and also heard tawny owls in the evening.
