The DogPeople Blog
  1. End of an era and changes to the website

For those that don’t already know our website dogpeople.co.uk will be closing down on 31/3/19. This is due to a mixture of business and personal reasons. In the meantime the dog friendly entries and banner adverts will continue to be displayed on our site so you can still find dog friendly places to visit and go on holiday.

I would like to thank you for your support and interest in our site. Some of our customers have been with us since 2002 (when the website was set up) and many other customers for 10 years or more.  Alan and I enjoyed many visits and holidays over the years with our Airedale Terriers Hamish (R.I.P.), Murphy (R.I.P.) and Lottie. We stayed in some great places and made many new friends.

All of this was only possible because of the help and support in the past from friends (especially Jim W and Paul M) and our current website developer Paul and his colleagues at Beachshore Design. Thank you.

And finally … you may be wondering what’s going to happen in the future. Our website and social media pages will be closing but our domain name dogpeople.co.uk is being sold in April to a third party who will be developing a new website. So while it’s the end of an era for us it’s a beginning for the new owners ….. so keep an eye on what’s to come.

    With best regards
