  1. The Rock Lodge, Whitstable added – dog friendly pub and place to eat

We are delighted to welcome The Rock Lodge, Whitstable a dog friendly pub and place to eat to the site. Dogs will be delighted to find they have their own doggy menu which is free and including Crackling Treats, Sausage & Bacon and Rock Lodge Burger Meatballs. The Rock Lodge is just a few minutes walk form Whitstable Beach so a great place to bring their owner after a dog walk.

The Rock Lodge has recently launched a new menu introduced by Head Chef Adam Wrench which is fully in-keeping with the bespoke alpine feel of the venue with a fine dining twist, offering everything from gutsy burgers & hand cut chips to top quality steaks and the signature ‘Cliffhanger’. There are also weekday food specials. Why not try a Rock Lodge Lager, craft beer, cocktail or speciality gin?

There is plenty going on with live music or DJ’s on several evenings plus sports and a regular video game night. Jo visited The Rock Lodge on a Friday evening in October with friends for a few drinks and found it to be a friendly and popular venue. There was also some live rock music and she was pleased the venue was living up to it’s name.
