  1. Dog friendly walks around Keston Ponds and Ravensbourne Open space

Lottie did a clockwise circular walk in November 2017, approximately 2 miles long. We started from the main car park and walked around Keston Ponds, then across Fishponds Road  into the woods of Ravensbourne Open Space (aka Padmall Wood), back past Keston C of E Primary School, across Fish Ponds Road near to the war memorial, past the iron age earth works and then back to the car park.

This was Lottie’s first visit and she enjoyed herself exploring, sniffing and paddling in the stream (River Ravensbourne). The source of this is at Caesar’s Well by the car park.  There is a mixture of woodland and open spaces including heath land. Walks can be varied in length to suit you and your dogs mobility. Children and dogs should be supervised at all times near the water and by roads.

Litter bins are located at the car park and on paths near Keston Ponds.  There are some benches for resting and one picnic table near the larger pond.
