The school holidays provide a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the family. Alan has loved the company of his granddaughter whilst she’s been off. Murphy has enjoyed being included too and has dutifully demonstrated his typically Airedale protective nature. He’s a big soft ‘teddy bear’ but is fervent in looking after his property and people. It’s all pretty exhausting for him though so Murphy found the shade whilst keeping a close eye on the family. The photos are at Tankerton Slopes, part of dog friendly Whitstable with its many and various eating houses (see a dog friendly selection here), but the beach below The Slopes is the only section from Seasalter to Herne Bay with a summer time dog ban (dogs are still allowed on the promenade on leads).
