One of our directors cycled out for a pint at The Kings Arms, Elham yesterday. As well as finding a great pint and tasty comestibles he and his cycling companion were delighted to discover a really welcoming atmosphere and a Cockerpoo sitting peacefully whilst his people enjoyed tempting looking roast dinners (with 20 miles to cycle back we couldn’t possibly eat that much!). The Cockerpoo had been treated by the landlady before the meals arrived.
We know there’s lots of good walking in the beautiful and still quiet part of Kent and have walked The Elham Valley Way with our Airedales. Our dog friendly walking directory doesn’t have a route from here – something we should maybe correct – but there are plenty of other routes. The village is steeped in history but, if you’re looking for a dog friendly day out before relaxing at The King’s Arms for an evening meal you may like to consult our days out directory.
