  1. Tearooms and bar by the beach added

West Beach Pavilion Caravan Park’s dog friendly tearooms and bar has been added  to our dog friendly pubs and food directory.  The directors called in today for a coffee with Lottie and Murphy (but will save a DogPeople Says link for another time after we’ve had a cream tea).  The tearooms are something of a Tardis as they seem much more roomy inside than one expects.  There are also gardens on two sides – so you can pretty much guarantee getting in the Sun and out of the wind almost all day (or not if you prefer or the dogs are too hot).  There’s dog drinking bowls too so this is a great spot to rest a while on a day when you make the most of historic Whitstable with its miles of dog friendly beaches and walks (the beach is literally metres away).  If you can come in the evening the sunsets over the Isle of Sheppey are often fantastic – take your time over a drink or two and soak it in with your best friend!
