  1. Chirk Castle Grounds a Dog Friendly Day out

Another National Trust property, Chirk Castle in North Wales (Wrexham) has told us about the dog friendliness of their 480 acres of grounds.  Dogs are not allowed in the formal gardens (or castle) but there is opportunity for part of the family to explore the grounds whilst the rest see the formal areas.  We often ‘take it in turns’ at sites like this – which means the dogs get to see the grounds twice!

You can also find a link from our dog friendly walks and beaches directory here.

Make this just part of a special dog inclusive holiday or short break by combining it with a stay at one of the dog friendly hotels in Wales in our directory.
