The last route walked by Lottie and Murphy on their recent Peak District trip has been added. This 11 mile walk was thoroughly enjoyed by the dogs but would have been challenging for some people and less agile dogs. A section of Monks Dale was stoney (moraine?) and required some concentration by the humans even when fairly dry (our canine pals had no trouble!). There are also a number of stone step stiles that Hamish wouldn’t have liked – but Murphy and Lottie managed with little help. An alternative and shorter walk is available for those who don’t mind the stones but would rather avoid the worst of the stiles (more country lane to walk though).
