  1. Kent Pet Airedale walk Sunday 3rd August 2014 at 11am

Our friend Kim is organising an Airedale walk on Sunday 3rd August at Shorne Woods Country Park, Kent. The Country Park is easy to get to by car as it is close to the A2/M2. There are usually a mixture of Airedales and Wire Fox Terriers walking plus a few other 4 legged friends.  There’s no cost apart from the parking, it’s a social event really walking at a slow to moderate pace, some dogs go off lead for part of the walk, some stay on lead. We usually take a picnic to have afterwards. If anyone would like to go you can just turn up on the day.

Here is Kim’s email message ‘I am so sorry for the lateness of the walk which is usually in April or May but I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us on 3rd August.  I appreciate this is holiday time for many of you so completely understand if you are unable to come.  The walk will be at SHORNE WOODS COUNTRY PARK, BREWERS ROAD, SHORNE, KENT DA12 3HX.  As many of you will remember, we have been here before and there are a few routes you can walk, nearly all through shaded woodland and with toilets, café and easy parking at £2.50 for the whole day. We will meet by the Visitor Centre at 11am and I look forward to seeing you all.  Don’t forget to invite your friends along as well!’
