  1. Buttermere, Scarth Gap, Seat, High Crag, High Stile & Red Pike walk

    The last of this batch of Lake District walks has been added.  Murphy and Lottie had a great break in Cumbria and this was possibly the highlight as far as a ‘holiday’ walk was concerned.  Based on Buttermere the route takes in the ridge from Seat to Red Pike after a gentle start along the lake. Some sections were very steep – and the decent from Red Pike was a bit challenging for the humans as it was loose too (the dogs had no idea what all the fuss was about).  Views from the ridge were fantastic making the climbing more than worthwhile including opportunity to gaze down on Haystacks – Wainwright’s favourite spot and last resting place.  A memorable day out with the dogs.
