  1. The Gardeners Arms in The Cotswolds Joins

We are delighted to welcome another dog friendly pub.  The Gardeners Arms at Alderton in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds will welcome you and your four legged friend and you can enjoy a meal and / or real ales and ciders.  There are local walks so you and your dogs can work up an appetite if you need to.

The pub is located in an old village, with the parish being known as “Alderton with Dixton” until 1831. It was mentioned in the Doomsday book as ALDRITONE or the “Town of Alder”.  There’s plenty of opportunity to soak up all that history in the surrounding countryside.  Staff at the pub can give advice about places to walk and it’s website has details of suggested routes.

This area of England has a long history.  If you’d like to visit some of the historic sites or gardens with you dog this page might inspire you.
