Lottie and Tia recently went to The Queens Head in Boughton under Blean, Kent for Sunday lunch. Dogs are made very welcome by the friendly staff – who will also look after the humans! The food and drink were very good – with the bread and butter pudding the best we’ve ever had! Read our updated Dogpeople Says report below:
Lottie and Murphy visited for lunch in July 2016 with a group of walking friends. The dogs enjoyed a bonio each (our own) while the humans sampled David’s new set lunch menu which proved to be great value as all the food was excellent especially the duck salad, scampi and chips, duck confit, treacle tart and cheesecake. The service was friendly and efficient as always. >>>>> Murphy and Lottie visited for lunch on St George’s Day 2014. The food was as good as ever – and so too the welcome. We had: Black pudding and local ham croquettes with a fresh apple sauce; Battered king prawns with a lime and sweet chilli dip; Braised and pan-fried pork belly (from our own pigs) with champ mash, braised red cabbage, cider and mushroom sauce; Battered Pollock with David’s home made chips and salad and; David’s bread and butter pudding and custard is still the best pudding Alan has ever sampled on all our travels with Dogpeople!
