  1. Pen-y-Dyffryn Country Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire joins

    We are delighted to welcome Pen-y-Dyffryn Country Hotel, near Oswestry almost on the England and Wales border as the latest addition to our dog friendly hotels directory.  There are ground floor rooms with doors directly to the patio (and pet friendly gardens).  Dogs are not allowed in the public areas of the hotel after 6:00pm but can be left in bedrooms alone if well behaved.

    Midway between Shrewsbury and Chester this silver-stone former Georgian rectory is set in stunning hill scenery in the Shropshire/Welsh borders. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic walking country and provides free route guides for it’s guests. Whilst never precious or stuffy, Pen-y-Dyffryn one of Shropshire’s best hotels, consistently rated “Excellent” on Tripadvisor, is a Good Hotel Guide “Country Hotel of the Year” winner, and has held two AA Food Rosettes for over 12 years now.
