Dogpeople Limited are delighted to welcome The Pines B&B, Darley Bridge near Matlock (Derbyshire) as a new dog friendly bed and breakfast advertiser,  Hamish knows Cheryl and Strider (the house dog) from his stay at their previous B&B, The Old Sation House, in nearby Rowsley.  We had a great time there – visiting Chatsworth and enjoying a number of walks (some in our dog suitable walks directory).  This will be a great location for visiting Bakewell, Matlock or the White Peaks in the Peak District National Park. We are utterly convinced visitors will receive a warm welcome here – these are extracts from our Dogpeople Says for The Old Station House:

“The breakfast room and guests’ lounge are comfortable – Hamish enjoyed being with us at breakfast times especially … not least because Cheryl ensured he had a treat every day! We enjoyed breakfasts too – everything one comes to expect from a good English guest house breakfast was available. As we stayed for a week we were able to test every combination and every style of eggs. We were more than pleased every time. … A great location (see also walks directory), comfortable accommodation and good food but the overall experience was topped by Cheryl’s personality. She was always cheerful, helpful and full of good local advice. On the one really rainy day we ‘suffered’ she was ready with a towel for Hamish to stand on in the very useful conservatory / porch when he came ‘home’ soaked after a six mile walk. She also laundered his towels we’d brought to dry him off and clean him up– they were clean and dry by the time we were ready to venture out again for a meal. ”
