Dog Friendly Rating System

Dogpeople Limited has introduced its own dog friendly rating system. Site visitors will see two new images in some of our directory entries.

These will appear when advertisers have chosen to take part in this scheme and meet the criteria necessary for one of our ratings.

Our research and experience, and feedback from customers and subscribers to our E-Newsletter, helped us create a comprehensive list of dog friendly criteria. 

The images form links to a list of dog friendly services offered by each advertiser.  Dogpeople Limited have not independently verified the lists but a Dogpeople Says link will tell you what we found if we have visited (many of the links will pre-date these ratings).  We will welcome feedback from site visitors and challenge our advertisers if we have information to suggest the lists are not accurate.

The aims of our rating system are two fold:

• To raise awareness of things responsible dog owners value whilst on holiday or days out (and to encourage dog friendly businesses to provide them) and;
• To help responsible dog owning people better find out what our advertisers offer.

We hope this new initiative will help prospective holidaymakers and day-trippers make better informed choices and encourage them to be even more responsible dog owners.
