Dog friendly pubs and other places to eatand attractions (days out) can now advertise free of charge (basic directory entry plus hyperlink - photos are
charged at the standard rate of £25 per 12 months). See below for application forms and our
other rates and options.
Can we help you reach more customers?
An estimate put UK dog owning households at 5.2 million in 2004. It is estimated
there are around 8 million dogs in the UK in 2010.
You can make your own guess of how many potential dog related customers this
makes.
We realise there are lots of new advertising opportunities
and it can be difficult to decide which ones to take up, hence our competitive
rates and targeted directories utilising our own considerable experience as dog
owners.
Directory entries are currently £20 per annum. Hyperlinks
to your own website can be added for an additional £10 a year. You
can also add up to three photos (or other images) for an additional cost of £25
per 12 months. Images must be sent in Jpeg format to the address shown on application forms (contact us if in doubt). Short captions can be added under 'enlarged' format images when
loaded to directory entries. We welcome your suggestions for captions.
There are reduced rates for businesses
that want more than one directory entry ; second and
subsequent directories and hyperlinks are half price. Work out for yourself how
little dog people business you will need to gain to recoup the cost.
Special rates apply to agency advertisers.
Agencies should contact us to discuss individual needs and to agree
bespoke rates.
If you don't yet have a site and are unsure how to go about

As active dog friendly customers we know how difficult it
is to get the best from our leisure time. It's rarely easy to find good places
to eat, accommodation and places to visit on short breaks or holidays.
Even on fairly local days out it can be difficult to find a good dog friendly
pub or an attraction to visit. We aim to provide all this information in
one easy to use site. Obviously, this information will be of use to
anyone wanting to make the best of their leisure time in the UK - whether or not they
have a canine friend.
We intend to visit a number of our advertisers to see what
they actually provide. When we do we'll be paying customers. Obviously we
won't visit everyone but some advertisers will get enough business from our
researchers to more than pay for their directory entry!
